Allen James Johnson, age 65, passed away at his home in Lisbon, ND on Sunday, November 17, 2019 after a battle with Prostate Cancer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 810 Cedar Ave. Owatonna, MN 55060. Visitation is one hour prior to services at the church.
Allen was born on June 29, 1954 in Owatonna, MN to Alton A. and Lorraine M. (LaFrance) Johnson. He grew up in Owatonna.
He graduated from Owatonna High School in 1973 and continued his education through Austin VoTech. Allen worked at several factories in Owatonna, mainly OMC. He went on to be the Maintenance Supervisor at the family’s apartment complex in St. Paul.
Allen married Amelita (Amy) Johnson on June 28, 2006 in the Philippines. Amy joined Allen in the U.S. in 2007 and they renewed their vows at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Owatonna. Allen and Amy moved to North Dakota and he worked at Bobcat until his recent retirement.
All his life, Allen had no fear. A true Rebel. He was an extremely talented Craftsman. He loved camping, hunting, fishing, motorcycling, traveling and gambling. He lived life to the fullest. Allen loved spending time with his wife, Amy. He also loved spending time with family and his faithful dog, Penny.
Allen is survived by his wife of 13 years, Amelita (Amy) Johnson; two brothers, Dennis W. (Susan) Johnson (Owatonna, MN), John J. (Theresa) Johnson (Waterville, MN), two sisters, Julie Kahlilzadegen (Las Vegas, NV), Debbie (Craig) Johnson (Lakeville, MN). Nephews; Jeremiah Johnson, Wesley Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Steven Kahlilzadegen, Alex Johnson, Brandon Johnson. Nieces; Jennifer Stanley, Jillian Schuweiller, Jackie Brunner, Jessica Kahlilzadegen. And many great nephews and nieces.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Lorraine Johnson.
