Ann Marie Strander

Ann Marie Strander, 85 of Lisbon, North Dakota died Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the North Dakota Veterans Home, Lisbon, North Dakota.

Ann was born on July 11, 1933, the daughter of Olaf and Ann Marie (Gallagher) Nelson in Lisbon, North Dakota. She attended school at St. Aloysius, Aliceton School and Big Ben Township School #4. Ann was united in marriage on November 24, 1956 to Lloyd Strander at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Lisbon, North Dakota. They made their home in Babbitt, Minnesota until 1969 when they returned to Lisbon. Ann worked for Ben Franklin and Dahlgren Bird Seed Factory.

Ann enjoyed dancing, socializing and visiting with her family and friends.

Ann is survived by her two sons, Dennis Strander and Darwin Strander both of Lisbon, ND; two sisters, Lorraine Schmidt and Marilyn Nelson both of Lisbon, ND sister in law Betty Nelson ; brothers-in-law, Emery Strander of West Fargo, ND; James Strander of Billings, MT; Roger (Kathy) Strander of Boise, ID; sisters-in-law, Verny (Lawrence) Jorgenson of Jamestown, ND; Dolly (LeRoy) Siedschlag of Berlin, ND; Florence Strander of Lisbon, ND; numerous nieces and nephews.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lloyd (1995), siblings, Leo Nelson, Raymond Nelson, Lloyd Nelson, Clifford Nelson, Donald Nelson, Bernice Sullivan, Doris Smith-Wolters, Gladys Schmidt, Joyce Wolters and Maxine Patterson.
