Donald M. Jahner, 66 of Enderlin, North Dakota died Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, North Dakota.
Donald Matthew Jahner was born December 31, 1952, to Ralph and Regina Jahner in Hettinger, North Dakota. He grew up in various places around North Dakota and South Dakota before moving to Enderlin, North Dakota in 1978.
He married Denise Huseby on August 25th, 1979. They made their home in Enderlin, where they raised their family and have lived ever since.
He drove truck for Offutt in Glyndon, Eskelson Trucking in Enderlin, Harlen Fraedrich and worked as a mechanic for Maple River Auto in Enderlin and as a licensed plumber for Pfaff’s Plumbing in Enderlin, before currently working for Fraedrich Transport in Enderlin.
Donny enjoyed music, classic cars and especially his family and grandkids. He loved people and was a true jokester. He liked sitting around his backyard campfire and everyone was welcome. Donny was always willing to lend a helping hand for those in need.
He is survived by his wife Denise, his daughter Angela (Wyatt) Fernow, his son Brodie (Julia) Jahner his granddaughter, Angelina Jahner and grandson Ares Jahner; sisters: Julie (Clarence) Daniel, Spiritwood, ND; Kathy (Norlin) Davis, Battle Lake, MN; Diane (Jon) Rosenfeldt, Glyndon, MN; Linda (LeRoy) Johnson, Delano, MN; Maxine (Gerry) Medenwaldt, Wahpeton, ND; brothers: Earl (Tane) Jahner, West Fargo, ND; Chester Jahner, Fargo, ND; Steve (Kelly) Jahner Sheldon, ND; and many nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Regina Jahner, sisters, Donna and Brenda and brothers, Alvin and Lester.
