Heidi Louise (Bergemann) Willis

Heidi Louise Willis, 51 of West Fargo, North Dakota died Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, North Dakota

Heidi was born on December 17, 1967 to Ronald and Sandra (Sulerud) Bergemann in Lisbon, North Dakota. She attended school in Lisbon and graduated from Lisbon High School in 1986. Heidi lived in Englevale and commuted to Valley City to continue her education at Valley City State University where she graduated with a teaching degree. She moved to Texas, for where a time she taught elementary school.  After Texas she moved to Washington State until moving to Fargo in 2004

Heidi married Ruben Willis on March 24, 2002. They made their home in West Fargo, where they raised their two sons, Nate and Josh. She cherished being a mother and her sons were her pride and joy in her life. Heidi enjoyed music, playing piano and singing. Heidi also enjoyed doing crafty projects, but knitting was a favorite.  She also enjoyed the Downtown Abby series and reading.

Heidi is survived by her husband, Ruben Willis of West Fargo, ND; sons, Nate and Josh Willis of West Fargo, ND; father, Ronald Bergemann of Lisbon, ND; brother, Daniel (Tracy) Bergemann of Lisbon, ND; nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Colton and Ashlyn Bergemann, Autumn and Garrett Harland.

Heidi was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Bergemann and infant daughter, Elisa Willis.
