Larry D. Wayman, 75 of Sheldon, North Dakota died Thursday, February 7, 2019 in Lisbon, North Dakota.
Larry was born on April 3, 1943 the son of Arlo and Mary Ann (Hovdestad) Wayman Sr. in Moorhead, Minnesota. He was raised and educated Glyndon, Minnesota. In April of 1962, Larry enlisted in the United States Air Force and served until January of 1966 when he received an honorable discharge. He was united in marriage to Gale Overby on October 7, 1969 in Webster, South Dakota. They moved to Chicago where he started his career with NCR, until a car accident left him unable to work. Then they moved to Fargo, North Dakota and later to Sheldon where he resided the rest of his life.
Larry enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, going to the casino, hunting and fishing with son, Alan and working on cars.
Larry is survived by his son, Alan (Andrea) Wayman of Sheldon, ND; daughter, Sherri Wayman of Sheldon, ND; four grandchildren, Alexander, Mercedes, Michael and Jon Wayman; one great-grandson; two sisters, Mary Bock of Fargo, ND; Judith Narlock of Dilworth, MN; numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Gale Wayman, grandson, Joseph Wayman, brother, Arlo Wayman Jr., and sister, Sandra Holms.
