Lois M. Schultz, 81 of Lisbon, North Dakota died Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Parkside Lutheran Home surrounded by her family.

Lois was born on December 7, 1937 the daughter of James and Lucille (Malarkey) Mulvaney in Lisbon, North Dakota. She was raised and educated in Lisbon, graduating from Lisbon High School. As a young woman she moved to Fargo to attend business college. After finishing her schooling, Lois accepted a position at a Dodge dealership in Fargo. She married Robert Schultz on December 27, 1958 in Lisbon. They made their home in rural Lisbon, where they raised their family and Lois helped with the daily activities of the farm. Later in life she worked at the Lisbon Elementary School Cafeteria.

Lois was an active volunteer with the Lisbon Library, Friends Group, Eagles Auxiliary and the lady’s aide at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching and reading. Time spent with her grandchildren and watching their activities meant the most to her.

Lois is survived by two sons, Mike (Kellie) Schultz of Valley City, ND; Steve (Kathy) Schultz of Lisbon, ND;  two daughters, Juli (Brent Halmrast) Schultz of Lisbon, ND; Barb (Casey) Sweet of Lisbon, ND; nine grandchildren, Jonathon (Melissa) Nelson, Sean (Ayaka Nishi) Nelson, MacKenzi Nelson, Zach Schultz, Ben Schultz, Trevor Schultz, Karly Schultz, Caeden Sweet and Kaia Sweet; numerous nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert (2009), son-in-law, Bob Nelson, siblings, Eugene Mulvaney, Agnes Lemieux, Lucille Smith, Jim Mulvaney, Morris Mulvaney and Don Mulvaney.
