Ricky Glen Anderson

Ricky G. Anderson, 61 of Fargo, North Dakota, formerly of Sheldon, North Dakota, died Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Ricky Glen Anderson was born on September 11th, 1957, the son of Glen and Agnes (Broberg) Anderson in Fargo, North Dakota. He was raised and educated in Sheldon, graduating from Sheldon High School in 1975. After High School Ricky worked at Mobility Manufacturing and Construction for a few years. He was united in marriage to Diann Loeb on December 28th, 1984 at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Fargo. They moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma before returning to the Enderlin/Sheldon area and eventually settled on the Anderson Family Farm. Ricky began his career in maintenance at ADM – Northern Sun in Enderlin in 1987. He retired in 2015 due to his health. Ricky and Diann moved to Fargo in the summer of 2018.

Ricky enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in the yard. He treasured time spent with his children, and especially his grandchildren. Ricky will be missed by his family and friends.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Diann Anderson of Fargo, ND; two daughters, Ashley (Joshua) Fluto of Fargo, ND; Brittany (fiancé Allan Waldahl) Anderson of Casselton, ND; son, Dillan (Amanda Haugen) of Sheldon, ND; five grandchildren, Aiden, Annabelle, Ledger, Dominic, and Briar; brother, Gary (Norma) Anderson of Sheldon, ND; two sisters, Alice (Doug) Spiekermeier of Barnesville, MN; Christy (Kevin) Hartl of Enderlin, ND; numerous nieces and nephews.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents.

Interment: Helendale Cemetery, rural Leonard, ND
