Theresa Sue (Storhaug) DeMoss

Theresa S. DeMoss, 52 of Lisbon, died suddenly on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at CHI Lisbon Health, Lisbon, North Dakota.

Theresa was born on July 11, 1966 in Breckenridge, Minnesota the daughter of Clair and Susan (Gregor) Storhaug. She was raised on the farm in rural Milnor and attended school in Lisbon. After, graduating from Lisbon High School in 1984, she attended St. Joseph School of Nursing in Fargo. Theresa returned to Lisbon and married John Feist in June 4, 1988 at Milnor Lutheran Church in Milnor. They made their home in Lisbon until moving to Mooreton, North Dakota to manage the Mooreton Café. They returned to Lisbon and became owners of the Lisbon Café, which they operated for twenty-three years. John passed away on September 20, 2010. Theresa continued to live in Lisbon and worked at the North Dakota Veterans Home and later Gordy’s. In 2015, she reconnected with an old friend, Ron DeMoss and they were married on May 26, 2017. 

Theresa enjoyed playing an active roll in Big Dog Racing with Ron and together they enjoyed many Sunday evenings at the track. She was a loving mom, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and a friend to many. Theresa always had a smile on her face and a hug to share with someone. She enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing and gardening. Theresa was an excellent cook, known for her famous carmel rolls and her hot beef dinner. The food was always delicious and the portions were great.

Theresa is survived by her husband, Ron DeMoss; daughter, Jessica Feist; mother, Susan Campbell all of Lisbon, ND; brother, Travers (Brittany Odegard) Storhaug of Milnor, ND, nieces, Kelsie Storhaug, Callie Berg, Kailyn Storhaug; nephew, Hunter Storhaug; numerous aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins, great nieces and nephews.

Theresa was preceded in death by her first husband, John Feist, father, Clair Storhaug, step-father, Cam Campbell, brother, Trent Storhaug, grandparents, uncle/god father, Myron Mund.

Visitation: Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lisbon, ND with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.

 Funeral Service: Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lisbon, ND.

 Interment: Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Aloysius Cemetery, Lisbon, ND
