Tim Jensen passed away in his home in Fargo, ND on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.
Tim was born to Harvey and Christine (Devitt) on June 18, 1951 in Fargo and was raised in Lisbon. He graduated from Lisbon High School in 1969 and attended the University of North Dakota for two years. He was employed by John T. Jones as a bricklayer. On August 19, 1977 he married Debbie Nelson also of Lisbon. They lived in Perley and Argusville and then moved to Denver, CO in 1983 where he worked for Conley Built for 9 years. In 1992 they made the decision to return home to Lisbon to raise their 3 sons. He and Debbie purchased the First and Last Chance Bar which they ran for 23 years. They also owned and operated the Stake Out bar and restaurant in Lisbon for many years.
Tim is survived by his wife Debbie and 3 sons Wade (Cassie Oss), Dan (Sheena) and Matt (Brooke Martin) and grandchildren Myles, Thane, Hailie and Hayden. He is also survived by his Aunt Ethel Anderson, Parkside, brother Doug (Jeannie Welton) and sister Vickie Welton Bailey and her daughter Tori. He is also survived by his mother-in-law June Nelson, and in-laws Dale and Shari Nelson and family of Denver, CO, Mary (Nelson) and Carlton Geurts and family, Bend, OR, Juli Schultz and family, Lisbon and Jeff and DeDe Nelson and family, Wahpeton.
Tim is preceded in death by his father Harvey, mother Christine, father-in-law Dale Nelson and brother-in-law Bob Nelson.
A planting of trees after the lunch in memory of Tim, will take place at Sandager Park, the former Jensen's Farm, 4 miles west of Lisbon and at the Fort Ransom Arena, Fort Ransom. Everyone is welcome to join Tim's family as they plant trees in these places Tim loved.
