Ward A. Rebhahn, 59 of Lisbon, North Dakota died Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at his home.
Ward was born on September 11, 1958 to Donald and Muriel (Etter) Rebhahn in Jamestown, North Dakota. He was raised and educated in Lisbon, graduating in 1976. Ward enlisted in the United States Navy in June of 1976 and received an honorable discharge in November of 1984. He remained in San Diego, California working as a Boiler Technician. Ward was united in marriage to Cindy Denison on December 28, 1986 in San Diego. They moved to Lisbon in 1992 and Ward worked for local farmers, Brad Nims then Tim Huether. He eventually went to Plains Grain & Agronomy LLC in Lisbon and retired in the summer of 2017 due to his health.
Ward enjoyed hunting, driving the countryside checking the fields, watching television, especially football and racing. He treasured time spent with his kids, especially his grandchildren.
Ward is survived by his wife, Cindy Rebhahn of Lisbon, ND; daughter, Carol (Alex) Drake of Albia, IA; son, Doug (fiancé Alicia Haats) Rebhahn of Beulah, ND; seven grandchildren, Marlee, Brooklyn, Ethan, Averi, Ayden, Collin and Edward; parents, Donald and Muriel Rebhahn of Lisbon, ND; brother, Wayne (Teresa) Rebhahn of Cheyenne, WY; sister, Patti (Dave) Ragan of West Fargo, ND; numerous nieces and nephews.
Ward was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fern and William Etter, paternal grandparents, Leo and Viola Rebhahn.
