Alan Jeffrey Rotenberger

Alan J. Rotenberger, 57, of Lisbon, North Dakota, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020, in Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, North Dakota.

Alan was born on December 16, 1962 the son of Victor and Mabel (Schimming) Rotenberger in Lisbon. He was baptized and confirmed at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lisbon.

Alan graduated from Lisbon High School in 1981 and was involved in the FFA program. After graduation, he became active in the FFA Alumni Association. He attended North Dakota State School of Science for two years and received an associate’s degree in Farm Management.

Alan dedicated his life to his love of farming. He enjoyed gathering with friends for lunch at noon time.

Alan is survived by his brother-in-law, Jim Jerome, Grand Rapids, MN, two nieces, Jennifer (Jason) Alstad of Grand Rapids, MN and Amanda Jerome of Detroit Lakes, MN, great nieces Addison Alstad and Ryleigh Jerome, great nephew Lincoln Alstad, and numerous cousins.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Roger and Larry, his sister Linda Jerome and niece Kristi Jerome.
