Jane Ann Miller, 78 of Enderlin, North Dakota died Monday, November 25, 2019 at Maryhill Manor, Enderlin, North Dakota.
Jane was born on January 4, 1941, the daughter of Rudolph and Anna (Schlecht) Wolf in Fort Yates, North Dakota. She was raised in Fort Yates until the age of 12 when her family moved to rural Enderlin. She continued her education at Moore Country School and graduated from Enderlin High School in 1958. Jane was united in marriage to Richard Miller on October 13, 1957 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Enderlin. They made their home in rural Enderlin, where they owned and operated Miller Service Station and the Café.
Jane and Dick traveled to many race tracks over the years, where Dick would race and Jane would help out at the track. Racing was a big part of their life and they made many lifelong friends during that time. She loved her animals and always would tend to their needs. Jane enjoyed gardening and crossword puzzles. She was an avid sports fan for Enderlin Athletics and the FM RedHawks. Jane especially enjoyed time spent with her grandsons and great-grandchildren.
Jane is survived by her son, Scott (Patty) Miller of Enderlin, ND; daughter, Linda Miller of Enderlin, ND; two grandsons, Jeremiah (Caroline) Miller and John (Nicole) Miller; six great-grandchildren, Riley, Jackson, Anna, Madison, Colton and Kaytlynn; sisters, Lorraine Olson of Fargo, ND; Mae (Larry) Johnson of Theodosia, Missouri; Sadie (Arlan) Haarsted of Pelican Rapids, MN; numerous nieces and nephews.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dick (2018).
