Jeffrey Scott Henderson

Jeffrey (Jeff) Henderson, 49, of Lisbon, North Dakota died on Saturday December 21, 2019 at Essentia Health, Fargo, North Dakota.

 Jeff was born on November 25, 1970 to Patrick (Pat) and Evelyn (Hettich) Henderson of Solen, North Dakota. He was raised and educated in the Solen School District. Jeff was the youngest of five children and started very young tagging along and helping on the farm. Jeff had a love of the land, and the crops and cattle that could be raised on it. This love found him trying his own hand at farming and ranching with his then wife Cindy (Zins) just down the road from the family farm for several years. Leaving the farm, he moved his family to Mandan where he worked for Cloverdale and Northwest Tire.

In 2003, the family moved to Lisbon for a job with Bobcat where he worked until his death. The move to Lisbon provided an opportunity for Jeff to be a hands-on dad and help raise his family. Jeff has two children and if asked he would tell you they were his greatest accomplishments. ­­­­­­­­­Jeff loved spending time with his children, teaching them what he knew, and playing practical jokes on them. Jeff also loved to tinker in his shop and enjoyed tearing any motor apart, especially with his children. Jeff was a big-hearted man and had many friends, his infectious laugh made him fun to be around. He will be missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his children, Tyler Henderson & Tyann Henderson, mother to his children Cindy Zins Carter, parents, Pat & Evy Henderson, Mandan, ND. sisters, Connie Henderson, Mandan, ND, Peggy (Pat) Bergin, Knoxville, TN and brother Chuck (Tammy) Henderson Solen, ND, as well as numerous extended family members.

Jeff was preceded in death by an infant brother, Michael, and his grandparents, George & Bernice Henderson and Paul & Helen Hettich.
