Leora Emma (Trenary) Anderson

Leora Emma Anderson, 85 of Fort Ransom, North Dakota died Friday, July 10, 2020 at CHI Lisbon Health, Lisbon, North Dakota.

Leora was born on June 26, 1935 in Lamoure, North Dakota the daughter of Richard and Rosella (Hansen) Trenary. She graduated at Lamoure High School as the valedictorian of her class. After high school Leora worked at the Register of Deeds in Lamoure. She eventually moved to California and Arizona where she worked before returning to the Dakotas. Leora was baptized as a Jehovah Witness on July 18, 1954. She was always excited to learn more about the Bible and Bible prophecy. She took every opportunity to share her faith with others.  

Leora married Kenneth W. Anderson on July 17, 1969 in Red Field, South Dakota. They made their home in rural Fort Ransom, North Dakota, where they farmed. She enjoyed bird watching, flowers and especially tending to her garden.

Leora is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Anderson; son, Kevin Anderson; two brothers, Charles (Darlene) Trenary, Stanley Trenary eight sisters, Aris Miears, Lois Church, Audrey (Wayne) Mikkelsen, Mary (Ken) Clark, Marty Black, Linda Schuler, Rosalie Hankel and Kim (Mike) Raper, numerous nieces and nephews.

Leora was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Trenary.
