Marie Endersbe

Marie Endersbe passed away, February 18, 2021 at Ave Maria Village in Jamestown, North Dakota.

Marie Holmstrom was born on November 9, 1935; to Oscar and Anna (Jacobson) Holmstrom. Marie was the oldest daughter of their seven children. Marie grew up near Gwinner, North Dakota and graduated from Gwinner High School. Marie married Maurice Endersbe in August of 1954. Marie and Maurice lived on the farm that Maurice's father, Roy, built north of Lisbon, North Dakota where they raised their five children.

Marie was a beautiful seamstress. She made everything from Barbie clothes to men’s western suits and her own wedding dress. Marie had a large garden and a henhouse full of chickens every year. Marie helped with the cattle, drove truck in the fields and also worked at different businesses in Lisbon.  Marie always had the coffee pot on.

Marie was a devoted member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lisbon. She was also a 4-H leader for many years. Marie enjoyed reading, bowling, country music and watching western movies.

Marie is survived by her five children; Bruce, Brad (Dina), Lynda (Tom) Thronsedt, Bryon (Terry). and LouAnn (Ed) Pergotski; sister, Cindy Schudar, sisters- in- law, Irma Holmstrom, Lorraine Holmstrom, Carol Holmstrom, and Joyce Holmstrom, and also many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Naomi Nelson, brothers, John, Bill, Chuck and Howard, brothers- in- law, Delmore Nelson, Al Schudar and Ralph Endersbe

Visitation: Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lisbon, ND.

Funeral Service: Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lisbon, ND.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Lisbon, ND

Masks and social distancing are required for those attending the visitation and funeral.
