Robert "Bob" Lowell Adermann

Robert L. “Bob” Adermann, 60, of Rutland, formerly of Gwinner, ND, died Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Sanford Broadway Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

  Bob was born in Lisbon on May 9, 1960 to Lloyd and Leona (Bartell) Adermann. He was raised and educated in Gwinner and later attended Wahpeton School of Science for a time, before he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served his country from 1978 - 1982, and after his discharge, he worked various jobs across the United States before he returned to Gwinner. He married Carol Allen in 1998, however they later divorced. Bob worked for the Sargent County Highway Department in Gwinner and for American Iron until his passing.

  Bob is survived by his four children; Skylar (Bailie Odegard) Adermann, Jessie (Justin Moser) Allen, Chase (Amy) Allen, and Lindsey (William) Wilkinson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, two sisters: Darla (Cam) Seelye and Carol (Leroy) Hintz, two brothers: Laverne (Eva) Adermann and Stanley (Robin Savage) Adermann, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

  Bob enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting, camping, sports of all kinds, but especially his Vikings. He had the gift of gab, and was a patient, gentle giant. Bob loved his kids and his grandkids.

 Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Zion Lutheran Church in Gwinner.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Following the service, Bob’s family is inviting you to a time of fellowship and food at the USW Union Hall, 402 Eagle Lane, Gwinner, ND.

 Interment: Zion Cemetery, rural Gwinner, ND

Those attending the service are invited to wear Minnesota Viking or Harley attire, or to represent your favorite team and are welcome to ride motorcycles to the service in honor of Bob.
