Wylma Kraemer Obituary

Wylma E. Kraemer, 97 of Fargo, North Dakota, formerly of Enderlin, died Tuesday, December 10th, 2019 at Bethany on 42nd in Fargo, North Dakota.

Wylma was born on January 19th, 1922, the daughter of Robert and Annie (Simonson) Rupprecht in Goodridge, Minnesota. She was raised in Thief River Falls and graduated from Lincoln High School. After graduating from school, she worked for Dr. Amesbury, an optometrist in Thief River Falls for several years. She married Mathew Kraemer on May 10th, 1942 in Thief River Falls, where they made their home until 1952. They then moved to Enderlin when they purchased Hanson Motors, the Ford dealership, and changed the name to Kraemer Motors Inc.  Wylma worked in the dealership for several years as bookkeeper.

Matt and Wylma retired in 1976, and from then on wintered in Mesa, AZ. Mathew passed away in 1996, and Wylma wintered in Mesa for a few years. Wylma was an accomplished china painter, and a wonderful cook and baker. She enjoyed playing cards of any kind. She will be greatly missed by her family. Wylma was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She was very active in church circles and was a member of Eastern Star.

Wylma is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Gary) Daub of Enderlin, ND; son, Jay (Amber Fehr) Kraemer of Evergreen, CO; five grandchildren, Robert (Jennifer) Daub, Kimberly (Karl) Blake, Jodie (Brent) Hilbert, Benjamin Kraemer and Alexa (Peyton Remy) Kraemer, eleven great-grandchildren; Alysa Dietrich, Kelsey (Jon) Mollet, Kaitlyn Blake, Karson Blake, Jenna Daub, Morgan Daub, Matthew Daub, Garrett Daub, Kristin Hilbert and Adam Hilbert, Wesley Remy; two great great-grandchildren, Emerson and Mason Mollet; special friend, Don Larson; numerous nieces and nephews.

Wylma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Mathew, brother, Arthur Rupprecht, five sisters, Carolyn Austad, Eleanor Johnson, Adeline Langseth, Winnie Stattelman and Ardyth Swanson.
